Künstlerhaftpflicht Professional liability insurance for performing & fine artists, musicians, magicians, actors, acrobats, educators, clinic-clowns, theatres, event businesses etc.

In cooperation with the Ostangler insurance company we have created the Künstlerhaftpflicht, a professional liability insurance for artists of all kinds, provided they are German residents. To our knowledge, our concept is unique on the German insurance market.

The concept includes several special features, like: • 6.000.000 EUR insurance sum for personal injuries, property damage and financial loss • damage to rented property (e.g. PA oder lighting equipment) is insured to a max. of 30.000 EUR with an excess of 150 EUR • the liability for organizing events is included, for events up to 500 persons per year, more on demand • loss of keys, professional and private, is insured • fire acts like juggling, poi, staff, devil-stick, diabolo, fire fans, fire breathing, fire bowls etc. are insured • educational activities in the fields of dance, acting, clownery and simple juggling techniques are insured • worldwide coverage, except USA/Canda (offers on demand) • family liability insurance included – family / partners and children living in the same household

On demand and against an additional premium, insurance cover can be provided for: • complete solutions for pyrotechnicians with a licence • the use of pyrotechnics not requiring a licence • educational activities in the fields of fire and artistics (aerial and floor acrobatics etc.) • sound engineers and light operators • dogs, horses and other animals participating in the show • groups, productions etc.

The insurance coverage is comprehensive and exceptional. In a damage event, we are your contact and manage the case with you.

And the premium for the Künstlerhaftpflicht is affordable: Premium rate: 206,50 EUR/year - basic coverage Additional premium rates: 36,75 EUR/year - for educators of higher-risk circus skills (artistics, fire etc.) 36,75 EUR/year - for use of pyrotechnics not requiring a licence Both additional premium rates: 52,50 EUR/year

For payments made by direct debit a discount of 5% is granted (German bank accounts only). Further discounts can be given to clinic-clowns or „fresh“ graduates of the Staatliche Artistenschule Berlin.
