Why a break of two years and does Ek Thi Dayan count as a comeback? Not really a comeback, but yes, the fi lm gave me my television debut. You must have seen me in the TV series, Ek Thi Nayikaa, that is a promotional exercise for the fi lm, a few weeks ago. Why the break? Well, I had a baby boy, Haroon, in 2011, and later was busy shooting with my mom (actress-director Aparna Sen) for her Bengali fi lm Goynar Baksho (2013). I am very picky about scripts, and as soon as a good fi lm came my way, I took it. You have to watch Ek Thi Daayan (2013), what a fantastic end to a fi lm and I am the suspense package. I am defi nitely the naa- yika (heroine), but to know if I’m the daayan (witch) too, you’ll have to watch it till the end. Are you a daayan at home? I believe every woman can become a daayan around her man, I can be a real daayan around Ranvir (Shorey)! Will we see you take another hiatus or do you have more fi lms lined up this year? I’ll start shooting Blind Night (2013) around June. My work as Lakshmi Das in Gour Hari Daastan (2013) is complete, and the fi lm is in post-production. I have done at least one Bengali fi lm every year, mostly my mom’s, this year I have three releases.
Soha Ali Khan ‘We didn’t want to turn Go Go Gone into a family project’

Go Goa Gone is a home production, yet we won’t be seeing you in it, why so? I agree my brother (Saif Ali Khan) is the fi lm’s star producer and it features my partner Kunal Khemu too, but we didn’t want to turn it into a family project. That would have taken the credibility away, even though I would have loved to be a part of this fun fi lm. I have seen the trailer, Kunal is fantastic! But you are doing another comedy? Yes, Jo Bhi Karwa Lo in which I play a cop and beat up a lot of goondas (hooligans). I loved being in the uniform, and though I didn’t take any kind of training, it has turned out pretty well. Will we see you in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3? If Tigmanshu Dhulia makes a third fi lm, I would defi nitely like to be in it. In fact, I would love to be part of any movie that Tishu makes.
