2021 TUCSON FESTIVAL OF

Bringing words and imagination to life in the New Normal

In 2020, just when we were about to participate in the Tucson Festival of Books for the fi rst time, the event was canceled due to the increased eff orts to contain the spread of COVID-19. Eventually, all other book events in America and around the world would be canceled or at least be virtual-only, as with the case of the 25th L.A. Times Festival of Books, Stories & Ideas, which ran from October 18 to November 13.

The COVID-19 pandemic could have been the end of many self- and book marketing companies such as ours. Worse, it could have spelled the end of the dreams of many aspiring authors. The COVID-19 could have spelled the death of the culture of , learning, and sharing.

However, beyond the gloom and doom of COVID-19, ReadersMagnet has found or created numerous opportunities to expand in terms of services provided, authors served, and partnerships forged. All throughout the pandemic, we were inundated with praises and commendations from authors, clients or otherwise, for excellent and superior service.

The COVID-19 crisis could have been the end of us but we realized that life’s greatest success has always been forged in crisis. We could have never got this far without our production staff and, above all, our authors who welcomed and supported our initiatives to bring their stories to life.

Whatever the times, whether in pandemic or in any other crisis, we will never cease to help authors bring their stories to life and share them with the world. CONTENTS
