Job Description
The 2nd Assistant Superintendent position involves all facets of golf course management with an emphasis on irrigation, fertilizer/pesticide and employee management under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendents. Supervises: Greenkeepers and Groundkeepers
Minimum Qualifications
• Two-year certificate, Associates Degree or • Thorough understanding of the rules and bachelor’s degree in Turf Grass Management, strategies of the game of golf Business Administration or a related field. • Excellent oral and written English • Sound knowledge and experience in the repair communication skills and installation or irrigation equipment preferred • Ability to interact with Club members, managers, • Good knowledge of chemical application employees and guests. equipment • Must have a valid driver license and clean motor • Prior golf course maintenance experience vehicle report preferred • Must have or able to obtain a California • Working knowledge of golf facility construction Pesticides License (QAL or QAC) within six principles, methods and practices months of employment • Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass • Oral and written Spanish language skills highly management practices preferred

Salary: $60,000 Housing: One month of temporary housing upon arrival during your housing search.
