  • Makes It Easy to Find Manuals Online!
Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine Photo © Jay Banbury From Jim Marshall I am really pleased that you have chosen this 1959RR Randy Rhoads Signature Series Super Lead 100W head. It is only the fourth signature amplifier that we have produced and I feel it is a great addition to this select range. I first met Randy when he came to the factory in January 1980. He had not long ago joined Ozzy Osbourne and they were working on their first album. He came here knowing exactly what he was looking for, he just needed to find the amplifier that was going to be capable of delivering the power, the tone, and the reliability that he wanted, but was also in keeping with the image that he was to be recognised by. Randy almost found everything he was searching for in a standard 1959 head, but the tone was not quite right. He spent some time with my Service Manager, explaining the slight difference he was looking for, and after a few trials we were able to fit a modification which made the subtle change to the standard tone of the 1959. Randy left the factory to proudly stand in front of his white Marshall stack for all of his hugely successful, but sadly too brief career with Ozzy Osbourne. In this time the legendary guitarist could be seen by thousands of fans, performing in front of his Marshall stack – a sight to behold and a triumphant assault on the ears. Our design team have spent many hours investigating the original Randy Rhoads amplifier, speaking to the Randy Rhoads family, talking to people who knew Randy and heard him play, and talking to the Service Manager who was at the factory when Randy came in and made the modification to the amplifier.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY TO HEADLINE NEW HARD ROCK FESTIVAL CREATED BY FRONTMAN ZAKK WYLDE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 21 ST WITH SPECIAL GUESTS CLUTCH, CHILDREN OF BODOM AND 2CENTS (New York, NY) – Legendary rocker Zakk Wylde is proud to announce the creation of The Black Label Berzerkus , a rock n’ roll night of excess and unique madness! Headlined by Wylde’s infamous Black Label Society, the extensive two-month long North American trek will also feature Clutch, Children Of Bodom and 2Cents. Hand-picked by Wylde himself, Children Of Bodom and Clutch will share the main support slot. Kicking off on September 21 st at Roseland in Portland, OR, the tour will make stops across the U.S. and Canada, and will pack a powerful punch of music and debauchery. Please see below for the full tour routing, as well as additional Black Label Society tour dates including Ozzfest. Zakk Wylde, known worldwide for his guitar prowess and over-the-top stage presence, was looking at other rock festivals and saw the need for a value-priced tour of his own – particularly one that caters to the need of his unique demographic of fans, known as Berzerkers. It was an easy decision, says Wylde, summing it up like only he can, “If you don’t get invited to the party, start your f’ing own!” Children Of Bodom commented, “COB is more than ready to head out on Berzerkus and see all of our great fans.

Ebook I Am Ozzy Freeware "They've said some crazy things about me over the years. I mean, okay: 'He bit the head off a bat.' Yes. 'He bit the head off a dove.' Yes. But then you hear things like, 'Ozzy went to the show last night, but he wouldn't perform until he'd killed fifteen puppies . .' Now me, kill fifteen puppies? I love puppies. I've got eighteen of the f**king things at home. I've killed a few cows in my time, mind you. And the chickens. I shot the chickens in my house that night. It haunts me, all this crazy stuff. Every day of my life has been an event. I took lethal combinations of booze and drugs for thirty f**king years. I survived a direct hit by a plane, suicidal overdoses, STDs. I've been accused of attempted murder. Then I almost died while riding over a bump on a quad bike at f**king two miles per hour. People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of sixty, which one of us would end up with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and Beverly Hills, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f**king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.
