Why in Scotland? A convicted rapist, with a nasty habit of biting his opponents, everyone was a little nervous Oabout hosting him in their country. Not the Scots though, they welcomed the former heavyweight champion of the world. The fight was a farce and lasted less than a minute. Iron Mike, as his fans liked to call him, floored Lou with his first punch of the bout. Why am I telling you all this useless boxing information in a Land Rover magazine? Well for the duration of his stay in Scotland, Mike travelled in style. Local newspapers reported that the luxury Range Rover stretch limousine that he was being ferried about in, had been built six years prior, at the cost of £139,000. The Sultan of Brunei had commissioned its build for his younger brother, Prince imagine that they used only the finest materials available Jefri, nicknamed the Playboy Prince. Incredibly Jefri is at the time. To make this limo, the original Range Rover alleged to have spent more money than anybody else on was stretched by 40 inches by adding two additional earth. At one stage he had a fleet of over 2000 luxury cars, centre fixed Range Rover doors. The chassis had to be eight private planes and a helicopter.

Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Undisputed Truth My Autobiography by Mike Tyson Undisputed Truth: My Autobiography by Mike Tyson – review. N othing in his subsequent exchanges with Paul Holdengräber could quite live up to the moment when Mike Tyson took to the stage last month at Madison Square Garden – sorry, I mean the New York Public Library. His mentor, Cus D'Amato, had assured the 15-year-old Tyson that one day, when he entered a room, "people will stand up and give you an ovation". That's how it was here. A collective gasp and we were on our feet – not as an expression of admiration, more a recoil from sheer physical and psychic proximity. This would never happen with the writers and intellectuals who usually grace this august stage. They are interesting, admired or even loved on the basis of stuff they have created, that is external to them. But everything that had made Tyson famous and infamous – the fact of his body and its capacity for violence – was there in the room. Among the living only Diego Maradona (whom I also saw once, in an equally improbable setting, as he emerged from the Oxford Union) has risen to comparable heights from such depths – and then plummeted back down again. Paul Gascoigne was an amazing footballer and Ben Johnson ran extremely fast but Maradona's and Tyson's life stories place them in a different realm. In Naples there are still shrines to Diego. When Tyson, at the library, said that he had been a god this seemed a self-definition that even Richard Dawkins might allow.
