No attention to the rural spaces, carelessness about rural environments, no attention toward production abilities and possibilities of rural areas, are among essential problems in access to the rural development, and by execution of exact programming we can prevent harmful effects resulting from damaging of natural environment of villages and help to make the environment clean. The region studied in this research is Masal County, one of the counties in Guilan Province which has three areas of plain, mountainside and mountainous from natural point of view, and in this research, we have used feature coefficient technique for determination of applications based on type of services and determined feature coefficient technique so that amount of development of rural districts of this county would be determined on the basis of type of services and quantities of them. Results out of this research show that rural districts of this county depends on rate of population, natural environmental conditions, placement in natural potential accessibilities and possibilities centers; and in this environment renewing process intends to change environment of the villages that we should help to keep and even improvement of it by an essential programming. Generally, programming in direction to development without damage to rural texture and space and keeping natural view of village, need a comprehensive and principal management, that this involves a special attention to regional and local programming so that priorities existing in each region would be specified exactly. -

Architectural Comparison of heat loss and air infiltration through the openings of Qajar and Pahlavi era houses in Tabriz M. Gane1, L. Balilan Asl2,*, D. Sattarzade2, F. P. Moran3 Received: August 2014, Accepted: November 2014 Abstract The rapidly growing world energy use has already raised concerns over energy resources and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Since the global contribution from residential buildings towards energy consumption, has steadily increased between 20% and 40% and as large openings have considerable energy and heat loss in dwellings, this paper establishes a coefficient of heat loss and air infiltration through large openings in 10 historic dwellings (Qajar and Pahlavi era) in Tabriz, Iran. The results show that although Qajar era houses have larger windows than Pahlavi era equivalents, the rate of heat loss of openings per square meter of facades (Ĥ) and the air infiltration per square meter of facades (FA) of openings for Pahlavi era houses is more than the Qajar era equivalents. Therefore Openings of Qajar era houses have been designed more efficient than those of the Pahlavi era. Although the generally accepted way of building energy saving houses in cold climate has been to use small windows, the results indicates that instead of exploiting small openings in facades, it is possible to enlarge the windows to get better lighting conditions and simultaneously decrease the area of openings per square meter of facades for lower heat loss through these openings. Prostigmatic mites consist of parasitic, plant feeding and beneficial predatory species and is the major group of Acari in the world. For this study, 15 males and 13 females of Glis glis (Linnaeus, 1766) were captured from Gilan Province in southwest of the Caspian. We examined the karyotype of Glis glis from Iran for the first time, and found 2n=62, NF=124 and NFa=120. The X chromosome was metacentric and the Y chromosome was a dot-like acrocentric. It was determined that there were 12 nipples in females. Counts of embryos and newborns suggested a litter size range of 3-5 (n= 3). Iranian dormice have larger body and skull measurements than other populations from Europe and the Caucasus, and represent a subspecies G. g. persicus (Erxleben, 1777). The phallus and baculum properties and bio-ecological notes are given. Key words: edible dormouse, karyotype, morphology, anatomy, biology, Iran. It is now more certain than ever and poses a serious threat to sustainable urban development. Climate change has many destructive effects on cities. Land subsidence, rising air pollutants, severe storms, dust and water scarcity are just some effects of this phenomenon in the urban area of Tehran. Urban management must be prepared to deal with these effects and adopt policies to mitigate and adapt to climate change. One of these tools in urban planning is urban development plans. The plans can have a great impact on controlling and counteracting with the effects of climate change. In this re- search, using content analysis method, 6 dimensions and 31 indicators have been used to evaluate 8 city and region development plans of Tehran from the view of reflecting the effects of climate change. Indicators were scored after studying the content of the plans. Findings indicate that among the reviewed plans, the second and third five-year development plans of Tehran with 61.9% and 61.3% as the highest rate and plan to reduce air pollution in Tehran and the transportation master plan with 20.6% and 23.2%, respectively have the least attention to the effects of climate change. -

Received: 21 November 2016 Accepted: 27 September 2017 Abstract Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the ecotourism development strategies in Chahardangeh District of Sari to provide an appropriate image of the current state, and to help identify (external and internal) factors effective in the regional tourism. Moreover, the study was set out to come up with appropriate applicable strategies for ecotourism development. Method: The study was conducted in a descriptive-analytical method and data was collected by library research and field-work (questionnaires, observation, interviews). Findings: The total score of internal factors and external factors were 2.51 and 2.57 respectively. This demonstrated that the management of ecotourism activities with regard to internal and external factors is in a favorable, and higher than moderate state, and it is also in an aggressive mode, but the figures obtained are very close to other strategies, which will change if there is no proper planning. Practical implications: In order to develop ecotourism in Chahardangeh District and enjoy its benefits, in the first place, the local community needs to receive the training necessary for ecotourism management and development; then, they should gain access to essential facilities required for ecotourism management, and they should encourage public participation.
