The redevelopment of Euston Station and adjacent sites involves HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, Transport for London, Lendlease—the Department for Transport’s Master Development Partner, and the London Borough of Camden which is the planning authority. LONDON STROLLERS WALKS PROGRAMME: JULY TO SEPTEMBER 2021 NOTES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING COVID-19: Following discussions with Ramblers’ Central Office, it has been confirmed that as organized ‘outdoor physical activity events’, Ramblers’ group walks are exempt from other restrictions on social gatherings. This means that group walks in London can continue to go ahead. Each walk is required to meet certain requirements, including maintenance of a register for Test and Trace purposes, and completion of risk assessments. There is no longer a formal upper limit on numbers for walks; however, since Walk Leaders are still expected to enforce social distancing, and given the difficulties of doing this with large numbers, we are continuing to use a compulsory booking system to limit numbers for the time being. Ramblers’ Central Office has published guidance for those wishing to join group walks. Please be sure to read this carefully before going on a walk. It is available on the main Ramblers’ website at www.ramblers.org.uk. The advice may be summarised as: - face masks must be carried and used, for travel to and from a walk on public transport, and in case of an unexpected incident; - appropriate social distancing must be maintained at all times, especially at stiles or gates; - you should consider bringing your own supply of hand sanitiser, and - don’t share food, drink or equipment with others. Where appropriate, reference is made to the relevant section. Service Specification for Route No. 199 - 16/09/2010 1. TENDERS REQUIRED This document describes the service for which the Corporation requires Tenders and Tenderers must submit a fully compliant bid. In addition, Tenderers may wish to draw upon their local knowledge to submit alternative bids which offer improved value for money in meeting passenger needs. These might incorporate, for example, different timings, frequencies, route structures and / or vehicles. The Corporation will welcome such bids and give them careful consideration. For more information, please refer to Section 2.1 of Part A of the Guide for Tenderers. 2. PROPOSED CHANGES At this time, the Corporation expects to implement a change to the existing service prior to the commencement of the new Route Agreement for Route No. 199: • Lewis Grove is expected to be closed from 11th October 2010 until 13th December 2010 for major gas works. Buses towards Catford Bus Garage will be temporarily re- routed from Lewisham Road via Molesworth Street to Lewisham High Street and normal line of route. -

This was evidenced by the failure of BTP’s current policing arrangements to reflect the needs of staff effectively. Of great interest was the way in which many staff spoke of their hopes and expectations for the future. The introduction of NP was often described in glowing terms, considered capable of providing the visible, accessible and familiar police presence that staff thought was needed to close the gap that had developed between themselves and BTP. Indeed, the strongest message for NPTs is that staff confidence may appear low, but their expectations are high. It became clear throughout the evaluation that each site has its own narrative – its own unique collection of challenges, customs and conflicts which can only be understood by talking to those with ‘local’ knowledge. Indeed, as will become clear throughout the following report, the experiential knowledge of those who work on and regularly use the railways is at present a largely untapped resource. -

Sponsoring Contact Officer: Mark Wild Director Number: 020 3054 4308 Email: [email protected] Information Public classification Summary 1.1 The Mayor published London TravelWatch’s independent report examining the customer impact of ticket office closures on 2 December 2016. 1.2 The review, as promised by the Mayor in his manifesto, considered a range of evidence to determine the customer impact of the ticket office closure programme and other changes to London Underground’s station operating model. London TravelWatch’s report identifies a number of areas requiring improvement. 1.3 In response, we have prepared an action plan to address the recommendations in the report. Work to deliver the plan has commenced immediately and will be adjusted, if necessary, to take into account any feedback from the Board. 1.4 Planned changes include: • clearer focal points for customers seeking help from staff; • changes to uniforms to make staff more visible; • additional ticket machine functionality; and • measures to improve accessibility, including improvements to the “turn up and go” process and a trial of portable hearing loops. 1.5 While not a part of the terms of reference for the review, the action plan will also review staffing numbers and deployment. 1.6 We will provide the Customer Service and Operational Performance Panel with regular updates on the progress of the action plan. -

London Buses From 2100 Monday 11 November until 0500 Friday 15 November 2013, between 2100 and 0500 each night Closure of Hammersmith Bridge Routes 33, 209 and 419 will run as far as Barnes Lonsdale Road, and route 283 will run as far as Hammersmith. Route 72 will run in two separate sections: between Roehampton and Barnes Lonsdale Road, and between Hammersmith Bus Station and East Acton.
