The primary function of the Proposals Map is to illustrate the policies and proposals in the development plan documents included in the local development framework. The adopted Proposals Map should be on an Ordnance Survey base map which allows the policies and proposals to be illustrated clearly. It must also reflect the most up-to-date spatial plan for the district and so will need to be revised when new polices and proposals are adopted. Document format b. This document identifies, in diagram 1, the location of Inset Maps, which provides Ordnance Survey map based detail, at a scale which allows policies to be clearly understood. These maps which will eventually form part of the adopted Proposals Map are contained in the Site Specific Allocations and Policies Development Plan Document. The Inset Maps are presented to support the locational specific polices of the district’s towns (Part D of the Site Specific Allocations and Policies Development Plan Document) and rural area (Part E). c. This document does not reproduce the detail found in the current North Cornwall District Local Plan Proposals Map which can be viewed on the Council’s website www.ncdc.gov.uk or www.planningportal.co.uk. However, diagrams 2 to 6 and the related schedules have been provided to assist in understanding the broad location of where the various policies set out in the development plan documents, particularly the Generic Development Management Policies Development Plan Document would apply. d. The form of the Proposals Map will evolve for the next (submission) stage in the process; to the extent that the detail provided across the range of diagrams in this document will be contained within a single Ordnance Survey map. The Proposals Map will be formally altered and reproduced upon adoption of the Generic Development Management Policies Development Plan Document and the Site Specific Allocations & Policies Development Plan Document. It will also have to show other allocations and areas which are included in adopted Minerals and Waste DPDs when they are adopted. 1 North Cornwall Local Development Framework - Proposals Map - October 2007 2 North Cornwall Local Development Framework - Proposals Map - October 2007 2 Maps Settlements with inset maps Diagram 1 - Settlements with Inset Maps 3 North Cornwall Local Development Framework - Proposals Map - October 2007 Schedule for Diagram 1 Other Villages list 1.
