Le congrès de Paris a donc marqué le départ d’un nouvel épisode de l’histoire de l’USPE et nos collègues français méritent d’ailleurs un grand coup de chapeau pour cette magnifique organisation. Une semaine plus tard, j’ai déjà eu l’occasion de sortir mon plus bel uniforme afin d’inaugurer les Championnats d’Europe de lutte à Moscou. Un moment inou- bliable…

Ces derniers mois, la Russie, la Suède et la Bulgarie ont successivement accueilli les Championnats d’Europe de lutte, de ski et de volley-ball (hommes). Grâce aux efforts des organisateurs, nos athlètes ont pu bénéficier d’excellentes conditions de travail et ils nous ont récompensés en affi- chant des performances du plus haut niveau et une attitude positive. La qualité de l’organisation se traduit en effet tou- jours par la qualité sur le plan sportif !

Outre ces événements sportifs, citons éga- lement le lancement de notre nouveau site Web, qui a subi une véritable transfor- mation. Il est désormais rafraîchi, dyna- mique et invite à la lecture et à la découverte. Il est plus convivial et plus actuel. Il s’agit là d’une réalisation impor- tante contribuant à la communication interne et externe. Die 8. Europäische Polizeimeisterschaft im Vol- leyball der Herren fand zwischen dem 18. und 25. Mai 2009 in Varna/Bulgarien statt.

Das Spiel um die Bronzemedaille gewann die bulgarische Mannschaft mit 3:0 gegen eine deutlich unterlegene deutsche Mann- schaft.

Im Finale standen sich die beiden besten Mannschaften aus Rumänien und der Ukraine gegenüber. Es war ein hochklassiges Spiel vor einem begeisterten Publikum.

Am Ende siegten die Rumänen mit 3:1 und gewannen die Goldmedaille.
