The minutes were accepted as true reflection of what ALL was discussed during the previous meeting.

• None.
8. Items for Presentation
There were no items for presentation as there was no Projector. Rand Water will present on the next forum meeting.
9. Water Quality in the Wilge Catchment DWA DWA
• WF has been unacceptable for the past 3 months • Fecal Coliform has not been analyzed for the past 3 months. • Bethlehem WWTW was not complying for the past 6 months.
WWTW that is always complying • Tshiame sewage works • Reitz sewage works.
Least compliant and of major concern • Bethlehem WWTW • Harrismith WWTW
Rand Water
• Rand Water presented their water quality status Rand Water report; generally there have not been any changes
of Water Quality for this quarter.
• It was reported that there are four sewage works
that are currently monitored by Rand Water.
• There is good performance with respect to ammonia in Tshiame. • Data for E.coli is missing due to the fact that there have been problems with Rand Water data.
Pollution Incidents DWA • There was a blockage at Qwa Qwa, due to pump failure. The municipality took the pump for repair • There was a manhole blockage in Makwane and it was unblocked within three hours.
Feedback on waste disposal sites • T.Pather sent a feedback on solid waste disposal DWA site. • Ground water monitoring will be enforced next year for all sites (2011). • Warden to apply for a new waste disposal site. There is a site but they need a new one. T. Pather mentioned that they must motivate for a new site. There will be a meeting on Thursday for the proposal.
10 Report back from Stakeholders in the Wilge Catchment
10.1 Phumelela Municipality • It was reported that R890.00 funding was received Phumelela LM from DWA, contractors have been appointed and have started working on pump station no.4.
10.2 Nketoana Municipality • Two pumps have been repaired. Clarifiers cables and motors are working. Nketoana LM • In need of assistance in fat trappings.
10.3 Dihlabeng Municipality Dihlabeng LM No representative.
10.4 Mafube Municipality
• The official mentioned that everything is working Mafube LM very well. • The official mentioned that the Technical Manager will advise when they are going to submit the WULA in the next forum meeting.
10.5 Thabo Mofutsanyane District Municipality TMDM • Everything is working very well in their area, except
for Phumelela Local Municipality.

10.8 Environmental Health Environmental Health
• Everything is working very well. 11. Water Use License Application Status DWA R.P Shibambo from DWA distributed the Water Use License Status. It was mentioned that two municipalities still need to apply for a WUL (Mafube and Dihlabeng Municipality) 12. Catchment Management Agency (CMA) update/Waste Discharge System DWA
A workshop was held on the 4th and 5th November concerning the CMA’s process. 13. Discussion of Additions to the Agenda ALL
