Dear HMH nurses-

As a pediatrician, I have worked in several hospital systems across the US and the worlds—and from what I have witnessed and heard about you, you are the best! Thank you for your unrelenting efforts during the COVID-19 outbreak—which is what you always do. I volunteered last month for a few days at HUMC and had the joy of interacting with some of you; you were all so pleasant, helpful and competent. Watching you with patients was a pure joy.

We are so very, very lucky to have you as a foundational aspect of our hospital system.

With warmest regards and deep gratitude for all that you do, do so well and do every day,

Bonnie

New: Team Member Mom Spotlight This week’s Team Member Spotlight is a special Mother’s Day edition!

Mothers make a difference in our lives. Beginning with the gift of life itself, hers is the first face we learn to recognize and respond to, the voice that reassures us and the touch that says home and security. As Mother’s Day approaches, we can't help but marvel at how many incredible moms we have throughout our network who have inspired their children to follow in their footsteps and become part of the HMH family. We’ve collected several of these examples to share. These are just a few, and more will follow in the next few days as we celebrate all the wonderful moms out there, especially our HMH moms!

Reminder: Celebrate a #MomHero We are so incredibly thankful for the more than 100 families who chose to join us in celebrating the HMH #MomHero in their lives. Your videos display an overwhelming sense of pride, appreciation, and most of all, love. Thank you!

While we were only able to feature a small number of these families in our compilation video, we ask that you continue to join the celebration by sharing your video on your social channels with the hashtag #MomHero. Remember to tag us @HackensackMeridianHealth.

Thank you so much for helping us honor the #MomHero in your life! Check out the final video this Sunday on the HMH Facebook page. Happy Mother’s Day!
