Carolina Kostner si conferma in uno splendido momento di forma vincendo l’ISU Grand Prix Cup of Chiana a Shanghai e qualificandosi per le Finali canadesi a Quebec City a Metà dicembre. Con un punteggio molto vicino al suo migliore, l’atleta Azzurra non ha avuto rivali sul ghiaccio dell’Oriental Sport Center, vincendo sia nel Programma Corto che in quello Libero: solo nel Libero, Carolina ha staccato la statunitense Mirai Nagasu - seconda anche al termine della gara- di più di sei punti nei component e di otto nei punti complessivi. Terza la giovanissima russa Adelina Sotnikova. Nono posto finale, invece, per Valentina Marchei dopo la settima posizione del Corto. Prima delle finali di dicembre, la Kostner scenderà ancora in gara nel Grand Prix per il Trophée Eric Bompard, in calendario a Parigi dal 18 al 20 novembre. Nel prossimo appuntamento, A Sapporo (Giappone) dall’11 al 13 novembre, in gara Samuel Contesti e le Coppie Berton/Hotarek (Artistico) e Alessandrini/Vaturi (Danza).
