(2) To the extent that this Plan brings some additional land under flood planning controls, this Plan applies to certain land in Jugiong. 4Maps The maps adopted by Harden Local Environmental Plan 2011 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the Minister on the making of this Plan.     Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation (HRDC) response to Hilltops Council Economic Growth and Land Use Strategy Our hope for Hilltops is to be known as the Council that says: “Yes we Can” ****************** HRDC has concerns that the report tabled to Hilltops Council does not reflect an entrepreneurial and future focused approach for this community and a new growth paradigm is required to ensure short medium and long prosperity. We believe that annual growth of 1-2% per annum is realistic and should be the basis for decisions rather than the extremely negative and pessimistic 0.4% noted for Hilltops and 0.1% for HM. HRDC also believes that access to residential and industrial land is critical for this prosperity to be realized. HRDC is concerned that little regard for the geographic location of this shire in relation to Canberra, South West Sydney and with the imminent commencement of Snowy 2.0. Dear Families and Friends of our Koorawatha PS Community, A lot has happened in our little school since our last newsletter. We’ve now had our playground unit installed and tried by our students…and staff. A few other significant events that we have participated in include: School’s Clean Up Australia Day, STEAM Ahead Robotics workshop day, Cowra Festival of International Understanding New Zealand Tumanko Maori workshop and Japanese Garden visit, and an agricultural workshop with Cowra High. Term 1 culminated in our very first World’s Greatest Shave community event, hosted here at our school. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE! This term will no doubt exceed all of our expectations in various ways, particularly in the area of teaching and learning programs. As a team, our staff are extraordinarily committed to refining practices that will extend student’s learning and wellbeing outcomes. We are working closely with our Early Action for Success (EAfS) Instructional Leader, Amanda Miller, to hone in on literacy and numeracy assessment data to create targeted areas of focus for each and every student. This term we will continue to spend allocated time in our Outdoor Learning Hub, with Aboriginal culture being a focus this term, sustainability in Term 3, and transitions in Term 4. Thank you to all who participated in our learning ecosystem interviews and surveys – the feedback will be analysed and used to enhance our Outdoor Learning Hub.

Number one was that he split the construction of the platform and the platform building into two contracts. He issued a contract to one D. Williams for the construction of a supposed 300 feet long platform and a second contract to one Mr Hines for the construction of the platform building. While nothing more is known about either gentlemen and neither built any other railway structures, as far as is known. What was usual or rather became usual was that John Whitton issued these contracts on 6th August, 1875, which was a mere 12 weeks before the opening date on 9th November, 1875. Had the plans only been prepared at that late time? No! Whitton had approved the plans in March, 1875 – six months before he went to tender.
