There will be a focus on where students are located on the Bay, N,E,S,W, fog and clouds will be touched on also. Identifying flowers, trees and browsing would be covered. One of the main focuses of this field trip would be to have students learn about what to do before going on a hike. The guide on the hike would cover information on what to do, where to go and why these things should be done in case someone was to get lost in the woods. A bit of history and folklore are options for this age group, depending on time.
