First contested in 1969, the Games are a multi-sport and cultural event that brings together the best athletes and artists age eighteen and younger from each Canadian province and territory. Team Ontario CSG Training Camp The Team Ontario Mission Staff for the 2013 CSG are planning on hosting a multi-sport Team Ontario training camp on May 31-June 2, 2013 at the University of Toronto. They did a similar camp prior to the 2009 CSG. It is a good opportunity to meet athletes from other sports, meet Mission staff, complete mandatory drug education and human rights training. Sport specific training will also be a part of the camp. Preview Camp at CSG Venue As part of our team preparation for the 2013 CSG we will do a preview camp which will be held in June of 2013. Dates of this camp will be firmed up in February of 2013 as we would need to know the 2013 tournament dates of events typically held in June in order to plan the optimal time to hold this camp. This preview camp will consist of playing Milby GC which is the host venue for the CSG. We would also like to incorporate a preview of the venues for the 2013 Canadian Junior Girls and 2013 Canadian Junior Boys into this camp since both these championships are scheduled to be hosted in Quebec in 2013. .
