The story‟s main characters are easily identifiable as the passengers aboard the Mayflower. Its plot is driven forward by both inner convictions and hostile forces. Surely, such a story is made for the screen? Indeed it has been made for the screen; into children's thanksgiving specials, cartoons, feature-length movies and documentaries, or non-fiction films.
