Access from Kansai International Airport Many access routes are available from Kansai International Airport to Osaka University. You can also obtain the access information from the Kansai International Airport Web Site, General http://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/ Transportation http://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/english/access/index.htm 1. BUS and OSAKA MONO-RAIL Bus service available bound for Osaka (Itami Airport) from Kansai Airport. Get on a bus at #8 Bus stop at Kansai Airport. It takes about 1.2 hours. At Osaka (Itami)Airport, get on Osaka Monorail. Hotel Osaka Sunpalace is on the front (South side) of Banpaku-kinen-koen station. Suitable for people staying Hotel Osaka Sun Palace and Senri Hankyu Hotel (get of at Senri Chuo Station). 2. JR and Subway Midosuji Line and Bus or Monorail Get on JR line Rapid Service “Haruka” bound for Kyoto, get off at Shin-Osaka Station. It takes about 45 min. Get on subway for north bound, then get of at Senri-Chuo terminal Station. It takes about 15 min. Then get on bus or Osaka Monorail. Spring Semester 2019 Admission Application Guidelines for Ph.D. of Disaster Management Program Graduate School of Societal Safety Sciences Kansai University Graduate School Admissions Policy The Graduate School of Societal Safety Sciences aims to advance the studies on Societal Safety Sciences and to foster the researchers who contribute to develop the said studies and make proposals through interdisciplinary studies on disaster prevention and reduction, in order to build a safer, more secure and disaster-resistant society. Therefore, we want to accept graduates of various academic fields of cultural, social, and natural sciences who are eager to work the said studies from many domestic and overseas university and graduate schools, not speak of our Faculty of Societal Safety Sciences. We also accept applicants who work now at many public and private sectors and have a will to study. Recurrent programs for the professions are provided as well. Japanese studies on disaster prevention and reduction are in the forefront in the world. Overseas applicants are willingly accepted.
