NEWS & UPDATES 1. Negligible amount of houses have been constructed in the district. It was noted that the houses were built without adherence to the technical guidelines or consultation with technical support team in DUDBC.

2. As per the reports from POs and local communities, most of the beneficiaries have planned to construct their houses after the end of monsoon season. In addition, scarcity of trained masons could prove to be a major impediment in smooth facilitation of reconstruction process.

3. Heavy monsoon has impeded the regular access routes and Uttam Parajuli, HRRP
