THE OPPORTUNITY NineSigma is seeking an experienced, self-motivated developer to join the IT Team to support and enhance its internal and external applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): • Work closely with Managers and others to provide an excellent user experience for a Jive based community • Participate in the design, development and deployment of bug fixes, enhancements and new applications • Investigate, identify and resolve complex code issues logged internally • Communicate problems, solutions and status updates to both technical and business personnel in a prompt and clear manner

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS: • 8-10 years of successful experience in software development • Strong OO design concepts in , and solid experience on common frameworks (Struts, Spring, ANT, Maven, Axis, Web Services, XML Parsers) • Development experience on a variety of web technologies like C#/ASP.NET, , Ruby, PHP • Solid understanding of Web 2.0 internet technologies on some of the following client side technologies: Flex/ActionScript, , JavaScript, REST, CSS, JSF, ZK-RIA, JQuery • Ability to write efficient SQL queries • Source code and release management best practices • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred with experience in business conversations with executives from large companies • Demonstrated capability in managing high volume communications with results and familiarity with database input are required • Phone skills are essential with supporting electronic communications

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; this individual should be a “self-starter” and a team player who can develop a trusting relationship with other colleagues and business partners • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and management/staff • Experience writing technical specifications and system design documents • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment • Ability to manage multiple projects, estimate project completions while meeting deadlines; time management skills are a must • Detailed knowledge of various browser capabilities • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and various methodologies • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases is a plus • Experience on social networking/collaboration tools such as Facebook and Twitter
