On the first day of LTT event in Žilina, Slovakia, students and teachers participated in ice-breaking teambuilding activities, which were led by Michaela Bahr and Filip Pleva, students of Súkromná stredná odborná škola Pro scholaris. All participants took part in presentations, interactive tutorials, workshops and training sessions in order to learn the rules and drills of floor and ice-hockey and the importance of physical activity in our lives. The presentations were prepared by students of hosting school, who are professional players of ice-hockey, Šimon Lopušan, and floor hockey, Janka Jantáková and Andrea Kosová. In the evening, as an educational and teambuilding event students had the opportunity to watch a live hockey match between MsHK DOXXbet Žilina and HK Poprad. 15.01.2018. On this day FITS participants put the previously acquired knowledge into practice, practising in mixed international teams. These training sessions were led by P.E. teacher of SSOŠ Pro scholaris, Juraj Mýtny and students, who are professional floorball players, e.g. Sára Záteková, who is a member of Slovakia woman's national floorball team. She gave advice and helped students during all the trainings. In the afternoon, after training sessions, project participants took part in special teambuilding activities, called Olympic Games, where participants were divided into international groups and had to take part in various sport competitions. 16.01.2018. On this day, teachers and students visited the town of Trenčín, with rich hockey traditions. Members of FITS Project visited the Pavol Demitra Ice Stadium, an ice- hockey arena that is the home of hockey team HK Dukla Trenčín, the runner-up in the 2017/18 season of the Slovak Tipsport Liga (Slovenská Extraliga). After learning about the history and design of the place as well as the history of the club itself (and its famous alumni) during the guided tour, project members participated in a Q&A session with the current players for the team: Peter Ölvecký (who also represented Slovakia at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang), Peter Frühauf and Ondrej Mikula, who proved to be very nice and approachable athletes, patiently answering the students’ questions about the daily life, routines and training of a professional hockey player. 3 17-18.01.2018. The last two days of mobility were devoted to international matches in the form of a tournament. Teams of Polish, Bulgarian and Slovak students played against each other. The winner was Slovak team, 2nd place was won by Poland and the 3rd went to Bulgaria. On the last afternoon, there was an official closing ceremony in the gymnasium of SSOŠ Pro scholaris, where the certificates were handed out to the participants and all the matches were evaluated, with winners receiving nominal prizes. Teachers developed skills and lesson materials that would help them to integrate social inclusion through sports in daily school curriculum and after-school classes during the coordinators' meetings. 4 3 AGENDA of the meeting When Time What Notes Saturday Arrival 13th accomodation evening January Individual dinner 2018 9.00 am Official opening Tomas Milata (opening speech) short teambuilding activities, 9.00 am - 11:00 Who we are am presentations about schools 11.00 am - 11.30 Coffee break am Sunday Rules and regulations of ice-and floor 11.30 am - 13.30 Discussion: Intro to the word of 14th hockey, pm hockey and floor hockey January role of floor hockey in Slovakia 2018 13.30 pm - 16.30 Lunch time Individually pm 16.30 pm - 19.00 MsHK DOXXbet Žilina vs. HK Poprad at pm Live hockey match 17.00 pm held in Žilina 20:00 pm Ceremonial coordinators meeting Theoretical part - game rules, sports Everyone can play! equipment presented by a professional 9.00 am - 10.00 trainer and players am Coordinators’ meeting for teachers 1 10.00 am - 10.30 Coffee break am Monday Practical part - playing floor hockey.
