Name (1) Arakkonam- section - CTR(P) of existing 52kg track with 60kg /PSC/1660 of nos/km at km.86/895-88/900 on AJJ-JTJ UP line for a length of 2.005 km by PQRS/SQRS work: & Manual method & (2) TSR(P) -19.29 km with 60 kg PSC sleepers between km. 77.00-83.300 ; 107.420- 111.500 & 113.24-114.500 on Down line & km. 83.00-85.75 & km.115.100-120.000 on Up line for a length of 17.29 km by PQRS /SQRS & Manual method.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS. 1 PQRS/SQRS type Quick relaying method Track Renewal will be done in this tendered work. 2 Tenderer/Contractor is directed to inspect/arrange to inspect the proposed renewal stretch by walking to understand the site difficulties and to plan work.

3 Normal track sleepers are supplied mostly from Tiruvalam /Bommidi concrete sleeper factory and only in rare occasions, they will be arranged from other concrete sleeper factories.

4 Tenderer/ Contractor should plan for working during day/night time hours according to the availability of line block hours. 5 Ballast shall be put back after renewal work at the earliest to avoid adverse effect of temperature. Scattered ballast shall be totally put into the track.

6 After day/night's block, packing staff batch shall remain to repack the loose sleeper as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site.

7 Before leaving the site, contractor's representative must ensure that released materials, tools and palnts are not infringing the safety movement of trains.

8 Speed restriction at site shall be kept under permissible limits at all the times. For this Tenderer/Contractor shall ensure timely ballasting, packing as directed, rear TRR work, welding & grinding of weld and as per the requirement, Rest giver/ Leave reserve workman shall be arranged to avoid interruption. 9 Measurements : Contractor shall be responsible for carrying out measurements of work executed and recording of measurements for the release of on account/final payment and the detailed procedure for recording of measurements, provisional payment, test check and final payment is uploaded in documents.
