Tato práce se zabývala sou časným stavem populací vrby bylinné na lokalitách v Hrubém Jeseníku a soupisem všech lokalit, minulých i sou časných v Hrubém Jeseníku a české a polské části Krkonoš. Další částí práce bylo posouzení výskytu obou pohlaví a vysv ětlení r ůzn ě dlouhého vytrvávání odkvetlých kv ětenství.

We explored a variety of habitats: meadows, open woodland, moor, arctic heath and bog, plus the rocky slopes of Skogshorn, a local mountain. The abundant willows showed soft greens and greys, with the dark-blue of emerging Northern Wolf’s-bane, and we enjoyed the delicate pink Twinflower, reportedly Linnaeus’s favourite flower. A wonderful mass of lichens added extra interest. Venturing further afield, we sampled ‘Norway in a Nutshell’, including Borgund stave- church, near where we saw fine specimens of Pyramidal Saxifrage clinging to rock faces, with sprays of white flowers, and the fascinating Flåm railway (where it snowed!). Cranes were regularly feeding in the field by the hotel, coming very close at dawn and acting as alarm clocks for some of the group. We were also very fortunate to have several sightings of Elk, crossing or near the road, including a young male which stood on the verge and watched us for several minutes, plus some lovely views of Bluethroats. Excellent hospitality, delicious food and great company all added up to an extremely enjoyable week.

Představují pozoruhodnou skupinu ke studiu hybridizace u vyšších rostlin, jsou VRBY známy vysokým počtem reliktních druhů a v nepo- slední řadě jsou významným ekologickým prvkem naší krajiny. Kromě toho jsou vrby elegantní rostli- České republiky ny a některé druhy jsou odedávna pěstovány jako okrasné. Netýká se to pouze smutečních vrb, ale Radim J. Vašut, Michal Sochor, i méně nápadných druhů, které svou časnou dobou Michal Hroneš a kolektiv kvetení přitahují pozornost nejen člověka, ale i včel. V naší květeně se dnes můžeme setkat s 21 pů- vodními domácími druhy, 1 druh vyhynul v minu- Michal Hroneš a kolektiv Michal Sochor, Radim J. Vašut, lém století, dalších několik druhů zejména z Asie a Severní Ameriky se u nás často pěstuje, některé zdomácněly. Vzhledem k častému křížení je počet taxonů vyšší. Celkem u nás historicky rostlo – po- čítáme-li současné i vyhynulé druhy, zavlečené druhy, křížence a vnitrodruhové taxony – necelých 70 taxonů vrb. Kromě těchto taxonů se u nás pěs- tuje v parcích, arboretech nebo na soukromých zahradách dalších pár desítek cizokrajných druhů, kříženců a vy šlechtěných kultivarů. Linnell Bjørn Kaltenborn Yennie Bredin Jan Ove Gjershaug Publicațiile NINA Raport NINA (NINA Rapport) Aceasta este o serie electronica lansată în 2005 care înlocuiește seria anterioară de rapoarte NINA la cerere și rapoartele de proiect NINA. Aceasta va fi forma obișnuită de raportare a NINA pentru studii, monitorizări sau revizii finalizate pentru clienți. In plus, seria va include mare parte din celelalte rapoarte ale institutului, de exemplu din seminarii și conferințe, rezultate ale studiilor interne, revizii și studii de specialitate etc. Raportul NINA se poate întocmi și într-o a doua limbă, acolo unde este cazul. Raport Special NINA (NINA Temahefte) După cum sugerează și numele, rapoartele special tratează subiecte speciale. Rapoartele speciale se elaborează la cerere și variază foarte mult: de la chei de identificare sistematică la informații despre domenii problematice importante ale societății. Rapoartele speciale NINA primesc de obicei o formă științifică populară, cu accent mai mare pe ilustrații decât un raport NINA. Fișa informativă NINA (NINA Fakta) Scopul fișelor informative este acela de a face rezultatele studiilor NINA rapid și ușor accesibile publicului larg. Ele se trimit către presă, organizațiile societății civile, managementul ariilor naturale de la toate nivelurile, politicieni și alți factori speciali de interes. Fișele informative oferă o scurtă prezentare a unora dintre cele mai importante subiecte de cercetare pe care le tratăm noi. Alte publicații Pe lângă rapoartele din seria NINA, angajații institutului publică o mare parte din rezultatele lor științifice în jurnale internaționale, reviste și broșuri de științe populare. This will be NINA’s usual form of reporting completed research, monitoring or review work to clients. In addition, the series will include much of the institute’s other reporting, for example from seminars and conferences, results of internal research and review work and literature studies, etc. NINA report may also be issued in a second language where appropriate. NINA Special Report (NINA Temahefte) As the name suggests, special reports deal with special subjects. Special reports are produced as required and the series ranges widely: from systematic identification keys to information on important problem areas in society. NINA special reports are usually given a popular scientific form with more weight on illustrations than a NINA report. NINA Factsheet (NINA Fakta) Factsheets have as their goal to make NINA’s research results quickly and easily accessible to the general public.
