A unique virtual event featuring musical entertainment, a special keynote address and a tribute to the Orchestra September 10, 2020

YOU ARE INVITED TO SPONSOR THE 5th Annual 2020 WORLD HERITAGE CITY CELEBRATION

Honoring world-class Philadelphia Orchestra Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin

In light of the pandemic crisis and to ensure the safety of our donors and supporters, Global Philadelphia Association is bringing the World Heritage City Celebration to you virtually.

The World Heritage City Celebration is an occasion to invest in the implementation of the World Heritage City Strategic Plan and is the driving funding source to keep the project moving forward. We are focused on four missions, each of which helps our city realize its incredible potential: • Preserving and celebrating Philadelphia’s historical and cultural assets • Educating global kids with roots • Building World Heritage City awareness and ownership • Extending Philadelphia’s global reach

As the first World Heritage City in the U.S., we have a distinctive set of relationships with 300 other World Heritage Cities across the globe. We will celebrate our common bond here and around the world by marking World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day on September 10th, while supporting Philadelphia’s World Heritage City project.
