Kenneth A. Wrig ht became presidc:nt in l 9-i3. One: year later the sc hool ex­ panded into a four-year institution, Southern Miss ionary College. During President Wright's administration, a library and a natural science building were added, a new store-which sell s everything from milk shakes and ca nned foods to refrigerators 3nd golf clubs- and Post Office were built, and many other improvements we-re made.
