•Joined the Cowboy basketball program following the walk-on tryouts on Jan. 17 and first suited up for the game against Texas Tech on Jan. 13. •Proved a capable member of the squad and saw 24 minutes of action in five appearances for OSU. •Knocked down a clutch go-ahead 3-pointer at No. 11 Texas Tech that helped the Cowboys take that game to overtime. •Mitchell played 12 key minutes at Texas Tech, including the entire overtime period when he knocked down a pair of free throws. •Logged nine minutes against Kansas State, where he shot and made two free throws for his first points in a Cowboy uniform. •Also saw action against Texas and No. 15 Kansas. •Was an integral member of the scout team that helped the Cowboys train following the dismissal of four players in January of 2019. •Was the District 16-3A MVP in 2017-18 for Jefferson High School. •AAU teammates with Oklahoma State point guard, Avery Anderson. •A multi-sport star, Mitchell was also named first-team all-district as a wide reciever and defensive back for the Jefferson football team. •Majoring in sports & coaching science at OSU.

• Suffered a minor knee injury during the win over Kansas City and missed three games. • Team-high tying 13 points and five boards in the exhibition win over Rogers State. • Represented his country at the FIBA U16 European Championships in 2016. • Viewed by the Cowboy coaches as a versatile stretch forward with a high basketball IQ and an elite shooting ability from the perimeter. • He spent the previous two years playing as an amateur in the highest levels of basketball in the Netherlands. • Coached by former NBA first-round draft pick and the Netherlands basketball legend Geert Hammink while playing for the Dutch Windmills in the Eredivisie in 2018-19. • As a 17-year old in 2017-18, Roessink played for the Dreamfield Dolphins, where he helped the club gain promotion to the Promotiedivisie, the second division of basketball in the Netherlands. • Roessink grew up playing for his local team, the Arnhem Eagles, as well as the Den Bosch Youth Academy, where he was viewed as an emerging talent. • Attended high school at Rodenborch College.
