Wildlife photographer Ken Conger will present a buffet of spectacular photos captured during his 2017 adventures to Ecuador, Kenya, Rwanda, and Alaska as well as some western U.S. national parks. In 2017, Ken concentrated on capturing some unique images and one special species on his “Bucket List.” Ken compliments his photos with stories, animal facts, audio and short videos. The program provides a view of a wildlife photographer’s world and the challenges taken to capture stunning wildlife images.

The Richmond Clarinet Choir performs all styles of music ranging from modern, classical and jazz, to more familiar melodies. The choir provides a unique sound not heard in other ensemble groups. The Choir is made up of professional and semi-professional musicians and is the only group of this type currently performing in the Richmond area.

Jay Brown’s Grace Street Seven is a vintage Jazz Septet that performs songs in the tradition of early American dance bands from the 1920’s-1930’s. This versatile group specializes in playing Victrola Record transcriptions of vintage classics from the likes of Al Bowlly, Fletcher Henderson, and Irving . The instrumental line-up includes trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, tenor banjo, piano, upright bass and percussion/ drums. Full of sophistication and exuding the nostalgia of early American Jazz, expect a dapper, yet cheeky, performance with a few fun surprises. Registration is required for all outings.
