Changes include: the events contested, team and individual achievements and dominance, debut of skills, difficulty expansion, judges, scoring, competition format, Finals qualification system, expansion of FIG affiliation, frequency cycle of the WC, number of teams and gymnasts per competition, age requirement of gymnasts, team size, venues, apparatus, devices for learning, education and certification courses, disseminating information, and expanded media coverage. Oltre a Ludovico EDALLI nell’Artistica maschile e Veronica BERTOLINI nella Ritmica – seguiti rispettivamente dai tecnici Maurizio Allievi ed Elena Aliprandi – i quali, lo scorso aprile, avevano ottenuto il pass individuale al Test Event di Rio de Janeiro, sono stati convocati dallo stesso presidente federale Riccardo Agabio con propria deliberazione (N. 138 del 5/7/2016) i componenti delle due squadre: L’Italdonne di Artistica, che aveva ottenuto la qualificazione, il 24 ottobre 2015, ai Mondiali di Glasgow sarà composta dalla campionessa del mondo 2006 Vanessa FERRARI, alla sua terza partecipazione olimpica consecutiva, da Erika FASANA e Carlotta FERLITO, presenti entrambe a Londra 2012 e protagoniste, insieme alla stessa Ferrari, del 7° posto finale - e dalle esordienti Martina RIZZELLI – appartenente come le altre tre compagne al C.S. dell’Esercito Italiano - ed Elisa MENEGHINI (Gal Lissone). La squadra sarà diretta dal DTN Enrico Casella insieme agli allenatori Paolo Bucci e Laura Rizzoli. Nella Ritmica, invece, la DTN Marina Piazza e il c.t. Emanuela Maccarani – affiancato come sempre dall’assistente Valentina Rovetta e dal coreografo Gjergj Bodari – potranno contare sul bronzo ai Giochi di Londra, la capitana Marta PAGNINI e sulle altre farfalle dell’Aeronautica Militare, Alessia MAURELLI, Camilla PATRIARCA e Martina CENTOFANTI, tutte esordienti come Sofia LODI (Brixia Brescia) e campionesse del mondo in carica con i 5 nastri. -
