    ANNUAL REPORT 2016 The Bell Fund’s mandate is to advance the Canadian broadcasting system The Bell Fund: • encourages and funds the creation of excellent Canadian digital media • stimulates partnerships and sustainable businesses in the broadcast, distribution and digital/new media sectors • funds, undertakes or publishes research and shares knowledge • enhances the national and international position of industry stakeholders Since 1997 the Bell Fund has received over $190 million in financial contributions from Bell TV to support the development and production of cross-platform digital media and TV content. In 2001 the Bell Fund was awarded an endowment of $10 million from Bell TV, as a result of a tangible benefits package.     Giorgio Verzini Luciano Tessari "Il ritratto fotografico di Luciano Tessari è stato gentilmente concesso in uso da Elio Leonardo Carchidi, fotografo di Roma" (http://www.eliocarchidi.com). 1 La storia di Luciano Tessari inizia con un “giallo anagrafico”: secondo tutti i siti delle squadre professionistiche Verona Hellas, Roma, Fiorentina, Palermo, dove Tessari ha militato, ma ed anche nel sito dei tifosi del Milan. www.magliarossonera.it dove Luciano per molti anni ha operato nello staff tecnico della società rossonera, sarebbe nato a San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona) il 29 Settembre 1928, data di nascita che lui stesso ha sempre conosciuto. Purtroppo però alcuni anni fa nel richiedere alcuni documenti presso l’ufficio anagrafe del comune di nascita, San Martino Buon Albergo, ha però scoperto di essere nato il giorno successivo e quindi il 30 settembre 1928. Il diretto interessato da me interpellato sul dilemma, ha risolto il problema con una semplice battuta: “Ho così tanti anni che un giorno in più o uno in meno non mi cambia la vita”. Incuriosito, ho voluto svolgere una mia personale ricerca su questo dubbio anagrafico ed ho scoperto che il 2 ottobre del 1928 papà Giuseppe denunciò la nascita del piccolo Luciano Gianfrancesco da mamma Luigia con data 30 settembre, mentre addirittura nel “foglio matricolare”, documento che riportava tutte le informazioni sul suo servizio militare, viene erroneamente indicata come sua data di nascita addirittura il 30 di ottobre 1928. Luciano calcisticamente inizia la sua carriera da portiere nei primi anni ’40 partecipando con amici ad alcuni tornei che si disputano nel territorio. Eccolo qui ritratto in una foto del 1943 quando a 15 anni vince un Torneo disputatosi a Montorio Veronese, con l’inseparabile amico Ugo Pozzan, che lo abbraccia e con Gino Zanoni (il quarto in alto da sinistra) che dopo qualche anno ritroverà nelle fila del Verona.
