Months before the event I had the feeling that something really exciting was going to happen: the FIVB wants a World Cup even more successful than the 2003 edition, which is still a record breaker event. Japan Volleyball Association and Fuji Television Network Inc. are leading the FIVB team to have the best World Cup ever. All the Japanese fans are ready to give their full support to the best players of the planet, gathered in Japan to go for the gold medals and to get a chance to compete at the Olympic Games next year.
