Anemia has its side effects of physical and mental retardation whici will affect the education of the children. Although IFA tablet through NlPl is administered to the children, anemia issue has not yet been addressed completely' Hence Double Fortified Salt containing iron and iodine has been advanced as another initiative which has been made mandatory in MDM. "odi-Food" Govt. of odisha has launched Double Fortified salt by a name called through oslc Ltd. The corporation has been authorized to supply "odi-Food" to the schoils through its own network-cum-dealership and collect the price from the school' However, the DEO can place the tentative indent with oslc based on the average .on.rrpiion of MDM by ihe children on a quarterly basis. The indent calculation would be as follows: 'a.
