While his 1952 career high of 57 against Knoxville is recorded, most of his individual records have been lost along with those of teammates Jack “Cy” McClairen, Hubert Helmsley and other BCU standouts prior to 1963. It is believed Cheney scored over 3,000 points during his Bethune-Cookman career. .. (+) Calvin Johnson’s totals are from 1961-64; his first seasons’ stats are missing; Anthony Chester’s totals are missing 10 games from 1977-79…Wesley Holliday’s totals are missing 4 games from 1977 and two from 1978. single-season Scoring PLAYER YEAR G POINTS AVG 1.Johnnie Allen 1968 31 994 32.1 2.Johnnie Allen 1966 28 759 27.1 3.Reggie Cunningham 1992 29 744 25.6 4.Anthony Chester 1980 29 714 24.7 5.Johnnie Allen 1969 24 671 28.0 6.Clifford Reed 1991 29 645 22.2 7.
