DISH Network Satellite Television Brings Local Channels to the Monroe, La., and El Dorado, Ark., area ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 2004--EchoStar Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: DISH) announced today that its DISH Network™ will offer local TV channels by satellite television to the Monroe, La., and El Dorado, Ark., area. The following local TV channels will be available: ABC Ch. 11 (KAQY), CBS Ch.8 (KNOE), FOX Ch. 14 (KARD), NBC Ch. 10 (KARD), UPN Ch. 43 (KEJB) and PBS Ch. 13 (KLTM). This is the first time local TV channels are available on satellite in the Monroe-El Dorado area, providing an alternative to local cable TV service. DISH Network now offers local channels as part of its new Digital Home Advantage. Starting at $29.99 per a month, this promotion offers customers free installation for up to four TVs, with no commitment and no hardware to buy and includes more than 60 popular TV channels such as ESPN, Discovery and Nickelodeon, plus local Monroe-El Dorado TV channels. DISH Network has frozen the lowest all digital TV price through January 2005. Customers can call DISH Network or a local satellite TV retailer to learn how to get a free multi-satellite dish antenna required to receive Monroe-El Dorado area local channels. DISH Network also provides digital video recording technologies, high definition TV and more than 60 international channels to the Monroe-El Dorado area. "The addition of local channels on DISH Network gives customers in Monroe-El Dorado a final reason to choose DISH Network over cable," said Eric Sahl, vice president of Programming. -

Each year, approximately five percent of all radio and television stations are selected for EEO audits. A list of the radio and television stations included in this audit as well as the text of the August 6, 2021 audit letter appears on the following pages, which are also located at the Enforcement Bureau’s EEO headline page on the FCC website at: http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/equal- employment-opportunity-headlines. The M Street Journal Radio's Journal of Record ' EW YORK NASHVILLE CAPSTAR ACROSS AFRICA. Capstar Broadcasting Partners will spend $60 million for twenty stations in four separate transactions covering five markets. Terms of the individual deals weren't disclosed. Two of the deals involve Point Communications, which is the managing partner of six stations in Madison, WI and owns five in the Roanoke - Lynchburg area, owned through a subsidiary. In Madison, the stations are standards WTSO; CHR WZEE; news -talk WIBA; rock WIBA -FM; new rock WMAD -FM, Sun Prairie, WI; and soft AC WMLI, Sauk City, WI. In Roanoke - Lynchburg -- oldies simulcast WLDJ, Appomattox and WRDJ, Roanoke; urban oldies WJJS, Lynchburg; and dance combo WJJS -FM, Vinton, and WJJX, Lynchburg. The third deal gives Capstar three stations in the Yuma, AZ market, including oldies KBLU, country KTTI, and classic rocker KYJT, from Commonwealth Broadcasting of Arizona, LLC. Finally, COMCO Broadcasting's Alaska properties, which include children's KYAK, CHR KGOT, and AC KYMG, all Anchorage; and news -talk KIAK, country KIAK -FM, and AC KAKQ -FM, all Fairbanks. WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' LICENSE . It's spent almost ten weeks on the air without a license, but the new religious -programmed station on 105.3 MHz in the Hartford, CT area, is being investigated by the Commission's New England Field Office. According to the Hartford Courant, Mark Blake is operating the station from studios in Bloomfield, CT, and says that he "stands behind" the station's operation. Although there have been no interference complaints filed, other stations in the area are claiming they are losing advertising dollars to the pirate. -
