JAMES THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH ~~ Sunday, January 19, 2020 ~~ MISSION STATEMENT ~~Second Sunday of Ordinary Times~~ Rooted in the Catholic Faith, in order to build up the reign of God, the mission of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church is to live out the message of Jesus Christ by worshipping God by serving the world. CALLED TO BE HOLY With this Sunday we begin Ordinary Time. The readings tell us about God’s relationship with Israel Lucy Anders-Baines Archie Bergeron and John the Baptist’s relationship with Jesus. Catholic Stewardship Appeal (CSA) The 2019 CSA campaign ended on December 31, 2019. St. James the Apostle’s assessment to the Diocese was $31,661. We have received pledges in the amount of $47,215.50 from 110 parishioners and have payments of $42,820.50. We are hoping all pledges was completed on January 17, 2020. We will provide you a final report once received by the Dio- cese.
