Deliverables as per indicators identified in applications funded in 2013 Response to Emergency Nutrition

Allocated budget = 8,164,529

Total number of beneficiaries = 86,039 individuals (10,346 SAM children,48,114 MAM children and 23,472 Pregnant and lactating mothers, 1,712 OTP discharges,2,394 moderately malnourished elders); a total of 1,400 MT of CSB, 125 MT of RUTF and 220 MT of Oil will be allocated to treat malnourished children and PLWs; a total of 659 HWS/HEWS/CHWs and 186 Community Volounteers will be trained; to establish/strengthen 158 TSFP sites, 360 OTP sites, 52 SCs . Out of which a total of US $ 4,000,000 is supported to UNICEF for the central procurement of 46,500 cartons of RUTF, 51,665 bottles of Amoxiline, 515 cartons of F100 and F75 , 2,583 packs of Mebendazole for the treatment of 310,000 SAM children, 1,549 Malniourished chldren and 1,397 pregnant and nursing mothers will receive fresh food voucher

Response to Emergency Health Allocated budget = 1,624,192

At least 900,000 doses of meningitis polysaccharide vaccine will be procured to fill gaps in the supply of this vaccine.

Emergency response WASH Allocated budget = 2,041,924 16 boreholes to be rehabilitated ; 18 hand dug wells to be rehabilitated /constructed; 10 springs will be rehabilitated;8 new shallow boreholes to be constructed; 2 motorized water schemes to be rehabilitated; 3 Birkas to be constructed ; 2 water tap stands constructed ; 1 spring extension with distribution networks to be constructed; one water supply system to be rehabilitated; 2 elevated water storage tanks connected to town water supply pressure line, 15,700 drought/conflict-affected population will have access to potable water, 12,000 water guards to be distributed; 558,480 sachets of water treatment chemicals to be distributed; 12,000 bars of soap to be distributed; a total of 2.9 million litters of water will be distributed to 17,192 people , 11,308 Jerri cans will be provided and 9,308 buckets will be distributed, 12 school WASH clubs will be capacitated , 14 WASH committee will receive training Agriculture Allocated budget = 3,693,253

A total of 121,083 HHs (605,415 people) will be benefitted A total of 347.6 MT of Haricot Bean, 57.2 MT of Teff, 366.3 MT of Wheat, 328 MT of maize, 51.9 MT of Irish Potato, 11.3 million sweet potato cuttings, 130,000 Cassava cuttings, 87.5 MT of Taro and 144 MT of sorghum will be distributed to cover 31,849 hectares of land, 400 HHs with malnourished children under five and pregnant mothers will receive meat vouchers for three months ; 2,005 HHs and 220 slaughter women group will be benefitted from cash injection; Livestock of 17,397 HHs will receive feed and treatment

NFI and Emergency Shelter Allocated budget = 417,196 850 HH will be relocated and have adequate shelter ;1,792 HHs will receive full NFI kits

EFSL Allocated budget = 971,301

1,500 HHs will have income opportunity sufficient for two months; 1,750 HHs received cash support equal to at least ETB 475.00 per month over 4 months; 3,469 HHs received cash support equal to at least ETB 475.00 per month over 3months; 70ha of farm land will be irrigated; 111 percolation ponds (27m3) and 420 ha degraded communal land treated

Education Allocated budget = 225,820 Emergency education building and desks will be provided for 600 students Protection Allocated budget =959,256 A total of 1,500 people to be evacuated from Yemen, to be provided accommodation, food and health support; to receive re- insertion allowance and to be assisted with onwards travel assistance to places of origin

Board of Auditors Visit to Ethiopia: The Board of Auditors is preparing to conduct an audit of OCHA's management of implementing partners. As part of this audit, the lead auditor is planning field visits to three OCHA offices, amongst others Ethiopia around mid-October 2013. The HRF is preparing for the Audit.

CSB/Oil Pipeline: The HRF Central CSB/Oil pipeline stock is fully utilized and HRF is working with WFP to reinstate the service.
