• Orano is joint venture partner with Cameco in the tandem operation of Cigar Lake mine and McClean Lake mill • One of the world’s leading uranium producers
• Cameco operates the Cigar Lake mine • demonstrated safe transition from commissioning to production in 2014
• Orano operates the McClean Lake mill
• processes all the ore from Cigar Lake mine • safely manages all tailings generated from the processing of Cigar Lake ore
Orano supports the renewal of the Cigar Lake licence for a 10 year term
