Sali ent Features Tarmi OCP is an existin g coal mining project in Dhori Area of Central Coalfields Limited. Environmental clearance for Tarmi OCP (1.0 MTPA normative capacity) was granted vide letter No.J-11015/219/2007-IA.II(M dated 20.04.2010 in project area of 258.70 Ha. Refer Annexure-I & II for copies of previous environmental clearance & forestry clearance respectively. The present proposal is being submitted for one time 25% increase in capacity as per guideline issued by MoEF vide letter number J-11015/30/2004- IA. II(M) dated 19.12.2012. The targeted normative capacity is 1.25 MTPA & peak capacity is 1.70 MTPA. No increase in lease area is proposed. Refer Annexure-III for the guideline. The infrastructure of the mine shall remain the same and higher production is proposed through better utilization of resources. Refer Annexure-IV for CCL Board Approval for Tarmi OCP. 2 S.
