The Growing Need for Trade And Vocational Education

There is a strong emphasis on encouraging young people to attend a 4 year university after high school, even when they do not have a planned career path. In the meantime, our business community is in desperate need for skilled labor in areas that don�t require a 4 year degree. Boyer 02-06-2001 18 Years Satellite Club Meeting - March 11 2019 Welcome President Lisamarie Winslow from Kaiser Les Loggins III 02-20-2001 University 18 Years Our own Lisamarie Winslow, a well-respected educator in the community, PP Dan Robie will talk to us about this issue and give us insight into today's educational 02-01-2011 system. 8 Years President Winslow�s career in higher education began in the corporate world twenty plus years ago and led her to her current role as the Campus Robyn Watson President of Keiser University, Jacksonville Campus. Keiser University is a 02-05-2013 regionally accredited university with 19 campuses statewide, 3 international 6 Years locations, 20,000 students, 3,500 faculty and staff worldwide and 22 NAIA recognized sports teams. As campus president she has responsibility for over Ryan Maloney 100 staff and faculty members and 700 students. When Ms. Winslow took 02-07-2013 over the campus in 2011, she intuitively knew it was important to immerse 6 Years herself in the community and immediately joined both the Jacksonville Chamber Trustees and JAX USA Partnership as an Advisory Board member. Today, KU Jacksonville has Richard L Miller partnerships far reaching in the Jacksonville community with: the USO, The Propeller Club of 02-06-2018 Jacksonville, Delta Mu Delta, Military Veterans Coalition, March of Dimes, Daniel Kids, Rotary of Club 1 Year of South Jacksonville, and the list goes on. Campus President Winslow serves on the Board of the local March of Dimes, the Board of the Jacksonville Icemen, and is an active member of Earn Up and the Military Issues Committee of the Jacksonville Chamber. Wedding Anniversaries In her tenure as president of the Jacksonville campus, she has brought bachelor�s programs such as Kyle Peters Biomedical Sciences, Transportation and Logistics, and Network Systems and Data Communications to February 23rd meet the needs of the business community. President Winslow works to align the programs KU Jacksonville offers in tangent with the economic development efforts of the City of Jacksonville leadership. Giving back to the community at large is not only part of the role she serves as campus Brandon Culp president but also a part of student organizations within the university, and the culture of the campus. February 27th President Winslow has been married to her husband Scot for 21 years and they have three amazing children, Tobin 17, Aiden 15, and Kaitlin 11.
