College, Department of Botany, Thiruvananthapuram, India. 2002 [email protected] Keywords: biodiversity, checklists, forests, non wood forest produce, non timber forest products, illegal trade, wildlife sanctuaries, India. Abstract The Peppara Wildlife sanctuary is a traditional resource base for substantial non-wood forest produce (NWFP). Checklist of NWFP from the sanctuary is prepared on the basis of data collected over a period of one given month; it is subject to the season, availability, market demands and to the known trade outlets. Major items such as fuel wood, fodder and some medicinal plants have been quantified. The checklist includes products used at subsistence, local use and commercial levels. Acknowledgements From the traditional perspective on non-wood forest produce as just a source of commercial exploitation to the present one of conservation of the wealth of biodiversity, the managers of our forests have come a long way in the sustainable utilization of natural resources. I would like to thank Mr. T. Pradeep Kumar, Wildlife Warden, Thiruvananthapuram and his colleagues in the Dept. of Forests, Keralafor giving me this opportunity to study the trade on NWFP in this area and make a humble contribution to the conservation and management efforts now in way throughout the state. This land of rare natural beauty is steeped in history and culture, but it has still kept up with the times, Kerala has taken its tourism very seriously. It is not for nothing than that the Eden in these tropics; God’s own country was selected by National Geographic Traveler as one of its 50 “destination of life time”. When it comes to building a result oriented development programme, data collection is key in any sector. To capitalize the opportunity to effectively bench mark, it is essential to collect data’s concerned with the matter. In this context statistical analysis of tourist arrivals to a destination is gaining importance .We need to assess whether the development of destination is sufficient to meet the requirements of visiting tourists. Our plan of action should be executed in a meticulous manner on the basis of the statistical findings. Kerala Tourism Statistics 2019 is another effort in the continuing process of Kerala Tourism to keep a tab up-to-date data for timely action and effective planning, in the various fields concerned with tourism. Vide the 3rd paper read above the ASAP District Committee of Thiruvananthapuram convened on 18th July 2018 has recommended to exempt a total of 103 students from payment of incentive linked fee of ASAP for the year 2016-17 and 140 students for the year 2017-18. Hence sanction is hereby accorded for exempting the students mentioned in the annexure from payment of the fee as per the incentive linked fee structure of ASAP. If any of these students have already paid the fee, the fee collected will be reimbursed to the students. JUDICIAL I CLASS MAGISTRATE COURT, KATTAKADA Information under section 4 (1) (b) of the Right Information Act, 2005. I. Organisation, functions and duties:- Judicial I Class Magistrate, Kattakada has criminal jurisdiction over the areas covered under Kattakada, Maranalloor, Vilappilsala, Neyyardam and Malayinkil Police Stations and Excise Range Offices of these Juridiction. The Court handles criminal cases filed within these areas and also cases filed under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act pertaining to these Jurisdiction. File relating to the Confidential Report of employees, R.R. online. 2. Senior Clerk-1 (Establishment Section and Thondy Section):- Maintaing Service Book, Leave account of employees, Fixation of Pay, Preparation of Salary Bills, Contingent Bills, GPF Bills, T.A.Bills of Non-Gazetted and Gazetted Employees.
