Eyedolatry By Aaron Wallenburg

It’s intended to provide a sort of commentary on how willingly we’ve become bug-eyed worshippers at the shrine of our devices. I wanted to elucidate a sort of embarrassment that we would all be wise to feel, because I don’t think one of us is in- nocent of surrendering our precious time to our screens.

This piece began as a class assignment that pushed me to design a piece which portrayed balance and unity through two main figures, one being small, and one being very large. At the time I was under quite a bit of stress, and was getting really down on myself, and feeling like I was moving nowhere fast. I think when I created this piece it reflected my need to just relax a little bit, and not worry so much about where I wanted to be but rather focus on where I was. It was very therapeutic, and a very fun piece to create. Okay, sure By Devin Renich

Artistic life By Gabriella Arana At the time, my family didn’t approve of my passion for art. I felt like every time I drew, I was trapping myself in a career that would give hardly any money to live off of. A job where people walk all over you, no matter the effort you put in each work. But for some reason… I keep drawing anyway.
