Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development Attention: Steve Hill, Executive Director 555 E. Washington Ave., Suite 5400 Las Vegas, NV 89101

Dear Mr. Hill,

U.S. Ordnance is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of small arms and machine guns for all branches of the U.S . Department of Defense and the Ministries of Defense and Ministries of Interior of allied nations. U.S. Ordnance manufactures the 12.7mm NATO M2 , 7.62mm NATO M240 and M60E6 machine guns, 40mm Mk19 Automatic Launcher, upgrade kits, mounts and other accessories.

The Company's approximate 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in McCarran, NV includes state of the art CNC machining centers, screw machines, custom rifling and chambering equipment, Mil-Spec plating, and an indoor firing range - all of which are under ISO 9001 :2008 certification. In addition, U.S. Ordnance maintains a staff of professional engineers, CNC machinists and armorers who devote themselves to constant improvement of the weapon systems and product offering . The Company prides itself in being accountable by recycling all materials it uses, including aluminum and steel, and ships its used oil and coolant to a company where it is reconditioned and reused.

U.S. Ordnance is in the opportune position of experiencing a significant increase in demand, both from existing and new customers. In 2017, the Company signed its largest contract in its 20 years of business and also secured another multi-year U.S. Department of Defense contract valid until 2023. These two significant contracts along with the increased volume of orders require additional expansion of the McCarran, Nevada operations. While plans to address the operational needs began in the summer of 2017, the considerable expansions will begin in October 2017. Equipment replacements and purchases and an addition of 10 employees are being evaluated. Thus, U.S. Ordnance is applying for the Sales and Use, Modified Business, and Personal Property Tax Abatements. The projected necessary capital investment is approximately $2.8 million with a potential up to $3 million.

The Company's decision to expand its operations in McCarran is due to multiple factors, including the business tax structure, cost of living and quality of life, and business-friendly climate in Nevada. The benefits offered by the Nevada State Incentive Program are another key advantage. This is a crucial factor in the Company's current and future decisions to expand its McCarran facility.
