While plans to address the operational needs began in the summer of 2017, the considerable expansions will begin in October 2017. Equipment replacements and purchases and an addition of 10 employees are being evaluated. Thus, U.S. Ordnance is applying for the Sales and Use, Modified Business, and Personal Property Tax Abatements. The projected necessary capital investment is approximately $2.8 million with a potential up to $3 million.
