powered by St. Britto’s College YOUNG FORUM - IGNITION Our Former President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s visit to the school for an Interactive session with the students ignited the start of the Intellectual events. Students were motivated by his inspiring words to dream big and work towards making the dream a reality.

Various competitions were organized with the aim of empowering the students with creative skills and to enhance their knowledge in different subjects for the past four years. More than 100 schools participated in various competitions of BYC. The competitions of Young Forum included Story Telling, Recitation, Poetry Fest, Limrick writing, Sonnet, Spin a Yarn, I Connect, Swatch Bharat, Tell Me Why and Sustainable Living.

ASSET AIM, SINCERE, SPORTIVE, ENERGETIC, TEAM SPIRIT – ASSET - Inter School Sports tournaments comprised of Carrom, Chess, Throw Ball, Kho- Kho, Volley Ball, Tennikoit, Cricket, Athletics, Football, and SPLASH - Interschool Swimming Meet , a part of ASSET was organized at St. Britto’s Academy. The event started with Breast Stroke, Butterfly stroke & finally ended with Relay. Totally 78 events were organized under different categories. Fitness and training regime was emphasized during the meet. ROYAL GRIDLOCK An Inter-school cultural Mega Fest conducted annually attracted 50 city schools. The competitions of Royal GridLock included Dance, Drama and Creative strokes. It brought out the various skills in students. The Overall Champion Trophy was won by Lalaji Memorial Omega International Residential School. 8 members per team Off stage Face painting / handmade mask and tattoo designing (unique way) that reflects the theme need to be done on any one or two participants in the team. Each competitor must bring all of his / her own face painting supplies including paints, brushes, rinse water for brushes, water container, sponges, sponge-tipped applicators and other tools and supplies necessary to complete the task. Contestants may not use photos or drawings to refer to while painting. All designs will be painted free-hand. Garment to be exhibited on the ramp need to be draped (readymade garments are not allowed. Vulgarity cannot be entertained in any form. Time duration of 45 mins will be allotted for face painting and tattoo designing. On stage Each team will get 8 min(5 min for walk + 3 min for the Question session). Participant has to explain about their Face painting, tattoo and garment. Use of props is not mandatory. Decision of the jury is final. PREMIER FUTSAL

SEEK FOUNDATION - AN NGO

Seek Foundation, an NGO started to stimulate work towards welfare activities to create a better nation. It extends help to less privileged by providing self employment training and awareness programs to all regardless of barriers in caste, creed and economic status.

Activities Include:

Basic etiquette and life skills are being imparted for children and students in training of sports & games, quiz competitions. painting and drawing classes, Coaching classes.

General Medical camp for the benefit of entire village and identified a congenital Heart condition for a one year baby and immediate treatment was given at the right time to save the child.

Veterinary health care campaign.

Swachh Bharath with the help of local bodies.

Futsal, an International and thrilling game, widely recognized as the fast growing sport in the world, was introduced in India to provide exposure and opportunities to the talented youth of the country and to popularize the sport. With The Indian Cricket Star Mr. Virat Kohli as one of the stake holders, Mr. Luis Figo, the legend of football as the president of Premier Futsal the irst season was held in Chennai and Goa from 15th July to 24th July 2016 in partnership with SONY, ESPN, Sony SIX and Sony Aath. Music Maestro, Mr A R Rahman composed the anthem for Premier Futsal. The legends of Foot Ball and Futsal played together to create history in India. Crespo, Falcao, Ronaldinho, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michel Salgado, Cafu's and many other International players' Participation proved the success of the irst season of Premier Futsal. Premier Futsal will be conducted twice a year and by conducting Talent Hunt in colleges, Young Indian Talents will be identiied and Trained in Boot Camp to represent in the league to play alongside International players.
