San Francisco FOGHORVolume 90, Issue 20 University of San Francisco AprilN 20, 1994 ASUSF budget up for approval Kelly Sullivan Editor-in-Chief The 1994-95 ASUSF Budget could turn from a recommended budget to an approved one at tonight's ASUSF Senate meeting. The Finance Committee completed the budget on April 13 after reviewing proposed budgets from 20 AS funded organizations and clubs on March 19. The Finance Committee allocated $300,000 to AS clubs and organizations; this is the difference between the $1.1 million requested and the $800,000 in AS generated revenue. The AS subsidy was taken from the student activity fee of $ 100 which every USF student pays per year. The Nursing Student Association was added to thisyear's list of AS subsidized clubs. Budget appeals were filed by the Freedom Alliance Culturally Empowered Students (FACES), the Undergraduate Business Association and the Nursing Student Association. ASUSF Treasurer Kevin Tun said that the budget was tabled at last week's meeting and anticipates that it will be voted on tonight Warm weather, good food, ,and an opportunity to get involved filled Harney Plaza with students last Tun said that he is satisfied with the budgeting process from Thursday.
