Unfortunately, the Halloween Dance, hosted at SRHS, was cancelled due to COVID-19. Many students are upset about this, including Ben Miller and Mark Snell, pictured to the left and right. Mrs. Mathews believes that it is a bummer, and it would’ve been very fun to attend as a teacher. Many are highly disappointed that it is cancelled. Due to mask require- ments, the school had to make the hard choice of cancelling it, as well as all dances, until further notice. Pictured to the right, Mark Snell is in his costume from last year’s Hallow- een Dance as a washer. His costume won the best costume award. He was aiming for the best costume again this year, but unfortunately, there is no dance. This Halloween Dance has been a tradition at SRHS & SRJHS for many years, and it is deeply upsetting that it is cancelled. However, hopefully we can continue this wonderful, spooky tradition next year!! Photo Credit: Google Images Photo Credit: Mark Snell
