It is located in Cabuyao, Laguna, near the industrial hub of the province.

MCL started with three colleges: the Mapúa Institute of Technology at Laguna (MITL), the Enrique T. Yuchengco College of Business (ETYCB), and the College of Information Technology (CIT).
