Elite Coaching Seminar Featuring Darren Berry, SA Redbacks & Head Coach with emcee Mark Soderstrom Monday 16 June 2014

Widely recognised for his sharp skills as a wicketkeeper, including being capable of standing up to the stumps to medium pacers, Darren Berry, the current Head coach of the SA Redbacks and Adelaide Strikers, made his first-class debut for SA in 1989/90, before playing most of his career with the Victorian Bushrangers. He retired from playing after captaining Victoria to the Pura Cup title in 2003/04, as the Australian record holder of most ever first class wicketkeeping dismissals (603 dismissals).

In 2008, Darren was appointed Coaching Director of the Rajasthan Royals and alongside his close friend led them to victory in the lucrative Indian Premier League.

Darren began as head coach of the SA Redbacks in 2011/12, and last season guided them to their best result in nearly 18 years, narrowly missing the final after a consistent year.
