If you have ever been on the giving or the receiving end of this, I bet that you too are an advocate for special, lasting relationships like these! Here’s another question for you—do you have just two free hours a week that you would like to use to pour back into your community? If so, Whiz Kids would love nothing more than to have you on the team! We are a one-on-one literacy tutoring and faith-based mentorship program. Whiz Kids targets students who are reading below grade level and who could benefit most from a loving and caring adult. Being the savvy entrepreneur he is, he decided to create his own concepts. The first of these was Bellini’s at the Waterford. Using an original recipe book he found at a garage sale, Tommy built a menu of favorites OKC families raved about! Soon Bellini’s was known City Wide for their delicious, consistent menu and excellent service! After many years of running Bellini’s, Tommy sold it to a new owner. This past spring the owner of Bellini’s decided to close. It was at this point that Tommy took the unique opportunity presented to him and stepped back in time to bring back OKC’s feelings of nostalgia, as he took on the exciting task of rejuvenating his original concept, Bellini’s at the Waterford! If you are interested in going to lunch out at Bellini’s, please sign up in the ‘Count Me In’ book by Monday, August 19th at Noon.
