AND WENT ON TO TAKE THE 37th DISTRICT RUNNER-UP TROPHY

Led by the devastating play of David Downey, the inexperienced Greyhounds mentally and physicallywhipped the highly talented and regional favorite, Bourbon County Colonels, in the district semi- finals. This game was a shocker to district and regional participants alike, because the Hounds had been beaten soundly twice during the year by their neighbors. Paris then went on to lose two heart breakers, one to a good Harrison County team in the district finals, and the other, a overtime loss to Mason County in the re gional tournament. Nevertheless, it was a fine year for the "Big Orange" .
