The Valley of the Sun Chapter honored 37 of the best-of-the-best student-athletes from 184 high schools in central and northern Arizona at their annual awards banquet. Pictured with the group is chapter president Janie Riddle.

U.S. Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss claim honors as co-recipients Former University of Texas Athletics Director DeLoss Dodds received of the University of Georgia Chapter’s Distinguished American Award. the Distinguished Texan Award from the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Chapter. The Mike Cleary/Northeast Ohio Chapter, in conjunction with the Cleveland Touchdown Club Charities, held their 26th annual scholar-athlete awards banquet. The chapter distributed $24,000 in post-graduate scholarships to the region’s top college scholar-athletes.
